I’m an independent MDR consultant based in Calgary, supporting medical clinics with compliance, training, and assessment readiness.

“I would recommend Christina to anyone looking for technical expertise or global perspectives in medical device reprocessing. Her local and global experiences bring systems-level perspectives and creative solutions.”

Jason MacDonald, CPSA

My work is grounded in direct assessment experience within Alberta’s clinical environment. As an IPAC Assessor, I’ve seen how MDR requirements are applied in practice and where gaps most often occur in workflows, documentation, and staff training.

I’ve spent 20 years working in MDR, including as a technician with AHS and as an HSPA Instructor in Calgary, supporting staff in developing the knowledge and skills required for safe, effective reprocessing.

For the past decade, I’ve focused on education and systems improvement through my work with Sterile Processing Education Charitable Trust (SPECT), developing training programs and supporting resource-constrained healthcare facilities in improving reprocessing practices.

Across both local and global work, one pattern is consistent: the gap between standards and day-to-day implementation. My focus is on helping clinics close that gap in a way that is clear, practical, and sustainable.

I am CRCST certified and operate independently, without affiliation to regulatory bodies, equipment manufacturers, or vendors.
